The Wynn Resort and Casino

This weekend we flew to Vegas for a 40th birthday bash for one of my husband's friends, unfortunately, the friend and his wife were in a major car accident on Thursday night and were not able to host as planned (they are ok).  All festivities were cancelled.  Well, we were there, so we made the best of it!

The Wynn, in my opinion, is the best hotel in Vegas.  The resort itself is light, open and airy.  No overwhelming cigarette smoke that clings to you as you walk by.  It is done in a Chinoiserie style that is beautiful.  There are wonderful restaurants and the pool area is gorgeous and boy, you can get in trouble with all the upscale stores.  The rooms are light and the totally up to date with the latest electronic remote control system that operates your lights, drapes and shears (and its easy to use).
The entrance is stunning.  You are greeted by a garden oasis along with a colorful mosaic path.
Bright and happy.
Fresh flower balls hang from the trees.  These flowers were gorgeous and all real!

I'll post more later on the chandelier, restaurants and shopping later.
