The Everglades

We looked on tripadvisor and Safari Everglades Tour seemed to be a good one.  We actually went to this same company 10 years ago on our last visit to the Everglades.  I just want to say that the tour guide makes or breaks the tour.  On our first trip, our guide was funny, he drove the boat fast and skidded us sideways over the water, he stopped and banged the boat and the alligators appeared - so fun.  Needless to say, our guide this time was not so great.  He drove the boat like grandma, was deadpan boring and the tour was just ok.
The seats of the boat are SUPER HOT, they said they put a heat gun on them and they registered at 148 degrees.  They expect you to sit on these hot seats, in your shorts; your thin, short shorts.  It was just too hot to sit down at first.  Everyone was sitting on the edges of their seat.  Bring a towel to sit on! The seats cooled once the boat got going, but there were some painful moments. They should definitely warn people and give them the option to put something down on their seat.

 Driving out through the mangroves,
The boat just floats over all the sawgrass.
Feeling the cooling wind through your hair, natural air conditioning.

HH and Michael held the baby alligator.

Then we saw some big guys taking it easy.
Of course, we were warned not to go to the edge of the water because thats were the alligators will burst up out of the water to get their prey, so that's exactly were HH goes.

We did this, too, down in Florida. It was terrifying but fun, too. Thankfully we had a great guide, but he was a daredevil and we had to hang on to our seats!!
