Catching up

AXO had their winter formal and Delaney took her boyfriend Michael.

Katie went with her friend Kendall who is in Delaney's sorority, so the sisters got to be together.

On Wednesday I received a phone call from my youngest. "Mom, where are you?" "I'm out to lunch with my friends". "When are you going to be home? I need to make a greek paddle for my big". That is code for, I need you to make a greek paddle for my big. My friends and I wondered what a greek paddle was, what is it used for. So after lunch we spent the next 3 hours running from Michaels to Michaels finding a greek paddle. Of course, every store was out because obviously, everyone is making greek paddles.

Finally, we found one and because her "big" likes peacocks, we put together a cute paddle with a peacock theme/colors. Delaney actually surprised me and did most of the work.

The result. Turned out pretty good for a greek paddle.

The Fall 2010 Pledge Class

Wow! What a weekend for Delaney. She rushed this weekend and she got her first choice, Alpha Chi Omega

A lot of her good friends were chosen as well and she gets to be with Kendall who is one of Katie's best friends and is a little older. I wish I had a picture of the two of them together. Lucky I got these actually. Other girls tagged Delaney so I was lucky enough to be able to get them off her facebook!
