Fall Decorating

I finally felt motivated and inspired to do a little decorating for fall. All it took was a cold, rainy day. After visiting Rogers Gardens and many blog sites, I finally had a little inspiration. For my living room, I am doing white and burlap with just a tiny bit of natural color. Above is my first attempt. It looked a little plain, so I headed back out into the garage to find a little more.
I added burlap under the green ribbon and an acorn garland at the base of the pumpkins. (I have to cut the stem off that middle pumpkin so the top one lays flat.)
Here is the finished product.
I got these white fairy pumpkins at Trader Joes, really inexpensive compared to Roger's Gardens. I have to work on my dining table next. That means another trip to TJ's.

Fall pumpkins

Roger's Gardens has a beautiful display of pumpkins this year. All different colors and shapes. Beautifully laid out with grasses.

You just feel so warm and comfortable when you see these harvest colors, they bring peace to your heart.

I loved the white and green display. So different from the norm. They had these pumpkins paired with gray, green and graygreen grasses. Amazing.
