I've been obsessed with cupcakes for a couple of months now. I've bought cute little books, looked up websites and dug up the girls old cake decorating tools. I've been feeling the urge to try it out, but didn't have an occasion to make them. Well, I'm hosting the Varsity team dinner for the volleyball team on Monday night, so I gave it a try. I definately have to polish it up. I've never worked with fondant before and unfortunately I have no artistic skill so I have to use tools. I actually piped the base frosting on -ooo! I used these mini cutters for the letters, stars and circles and of course I went crazy with sprinkles!! EEK-I'll have to learn to edit! I should probably take a class to get some helpful hints, but my first try didn't turn out too bad!
