Halloween at Roger's Gardens 2011

This year's theme was Welcome To The Blackstone Theater.
It was set up to resemble a theater during the Vaudeville days. I really liked the things they had this year. It was new and different. I felt last year was a lot like the year before. I loved the things they offered, if only I could afford them! I usually go on opening night, but I couldn't this year and actually it was much more desirable because I had the whole store to myself. On opening night, you can't even move around in the aisle.
When you looked up from the sign above you saw all these masks with flames licking the edges of the theater.
They sold very simple costumes and hats along with every kind of Halloween goodie.
This is looking out from the theatre into the audience. You could buy this and it was at least 9x7 feet.
Loved this scary chinese dragon.
They had a lot of these great masks.

This section sold every size skelton you could ask for, from teeny tiny to life size.
Great prop to help set the stage.
I loved how this sofa was crawling with rats. They bursting out from within.
Great dolls
The Dancing Bear
My very favorite was this paper mache circus. I LOVED it. I have no where to put it and it is very expensive so I am just satisfying myself with pictures.
Beautiful Zebra waiting for it's bare back rider.
And this wonderful elephant with a tiny mouse on top. Ah, I wish...
These wonderful wooden carved figures were fabulous. There were so many things. They had those pictures that look normal and then fangs, mosters, whatever appear. Those are always fun to see too.
