Bright Beauty by Artist Morgan Finelt w/Kent Baker
One morning when the Electric Company was working in our area and our electricity was going to be turned off for 6 hours, I decided to beat the heat by going down to Dana Point with my dogs and finding some more elephants. I went to Lantern Bay Park and found four and then drove over to the Ocean Institute and found Jack. It was a fun adventure.
Name unknown, not on my list of Artist, just says Tribute Collection. I thought the name would be on my list so I didn't note it when I was walking around. I might go back because I found out there were more on the hotel property and I will get the name then. He is awfully cute and is the epitome of Southern California surf culture. I later found out there were 3 more elephants on the hotel property in the background. The hotel is the Laguna Cliffs Marriot Resort, but I probably couldn't have taken the dogs, so I will revisit without them later.
Parking is easy and free by Lantern Park. The park itself has amazing views of the harbor and there were a lot of people exercising (a boot camp).

I have to admit that this is my favorite so far. I love the texture of his skin and he is just so dang cute!
Jack can be found inside the Ocean Institute so you can't really see him if you go there when it is closed. He is right in the lobby. I had to leave my big dog outside and I carried my little dog in for a quick picture.
