Family room tree. I don't have room for a big tree in this room, so this is perfect!
I've been very excited about decorating for Christmas this year. I put up some kind of little tree in everyone's bedroom and the family room that matches the decor. This year I love the brown, silver and gold mixes that are out, so I decorated the little tree in the family room with these great new colors. I also found cute bird garland at HomeGoods and proceeded to build the tree based on these birds. This designer Christmas tree bug bit me last year when my friend Cynthia would make a new tree every year for her desk at work. They were INCREDIBLE and AWE inspiring. So I made a few of my own.

I haven't done the tree for my room yet because I get a real tree about 7 foot. Maybe this weekend.

Oh, I love your idea and the trees you decorated! Since I have Aunt Stella's tree, I should just put it in each room and take a picture! ;-) Maybe I'll photo shop the tree into the picture of you and mini-me!!

Janie, your trees are very cute and unique, except for the steeling of the bird theme (but I'll take it as a compliment- LOL), but you put your own spin on it and made it your own. The picture of Delaney's looks like a magazine photo. How'd you get her to clean her room?
Clean? Who said it was clean? The magic of the photo is you can't see outside the box.
