They've made a comeback! Well, they made a comeback 3 or 4 years ago, but as usual I'm behind. Delaney first brought these shoes back into my life four years ago with RED classic vans. Then for two years, she wore white. This Feb, we were shopping at Nordstrom and we saw these sweet light blue ones. She wanted them. I asked her if I bought them would she wear them? She replied yes! Well, they have sat in her closet untouched for 9 months. Various rainy and cold days I reminded her she had them. She never wore them. So this weekend we were out looking for some tennis shoes for Bob and Delaney insisted he get vans. So we went in. I was drawn to the Van classics and thought I might get a pair. Then I remembered that Delaney had a brand new pair in her closet that still had the tags on them. They are now mine! I haven't wore Van Classics since the 9th grade and I'm wondering why?. I love them. You can get them in any color or pattern and as far as tennis shoes go they're inexpensive.

I can't believe you didn't take them back a long time ago. I like the color. I had the slip on ones back in high school and its fun when I see Erin's friends wearing them. Erin is into Converse right now. Another good classic memory!
