Last night, the Handsome Husband and I went to see Rain: A Tribute To The Beatles at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. The show took you from the Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show to works from their last album. It is amazing to think the Beatles were only known to America for 3 years, from 1964 to 1967. They really changed so much both in music and appearance during those 3 short years.
The show was fabulous! They had you stand up and dance and clap and it was very fun and interactive. Not to mention, the music was AWESOME! They covered a lot, but so many of my favorites were not played. I love the early years of the Beatles more than the later, but it was all good. They had so many great hits.Ed Sullivan set I: I Wanna Hold Your Hand / All My Loving / This Boy / I Saw Her Standing There
Ed Sullivan set II: A Hard Day’s Night / Tell Me Why / Yesterday
Shea Stadium set: I Feel Fine / It’s Only Love / Twist And Shout
Sgt. Pepper set: Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band / With A Little Help From My Friends / Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds / Penny Lane / I Am The Walrus / Sgt. Pepper’s (Reprise) / A Day In The Life
(intermission)
Magical Mystery Tour set: Hello Goodbye / Strawberry Fields Forever / Here Comes The Sun / Across The Universe / Man We Was Lonely (snippet) / Blackbird / While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Abbey Road set: Come Together / Give Peace A Chance (snippet) / Get Back / Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End
Abbey Road encore: Imagine / Let It Be / Hey Jude
If you have a chance to see this show, you must. It was so fun. I didn't realize that I knew so many of their songs, I knew the words to every song they sang (which always makes it more enjoyable!)

Oh. My. Gosh!!! I just saw Rain this Thursday. They were soooo much fun.
Imagine, Let It Be, and Hey Jude are my very favorites.
What are your favorites they didn't play? It seems like you listed all the songs I know.
