On Saturday, we welcomed a new member to our family! Alyssa and Greg got their new little puppy. His name is Aslan (like the lion in "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis).
He is really sweet and smart too. He didn't wake them at all during the first night, just went into his crate and didn't get up until 5:30am. Wow! He comes when you call him and he's fun to play with.
He is a second generation Goldendoodle, which means both his parents were goldendoodles. He is from a litter of 9 puppies and we had to drive 2 1/2 hours to Palmdale to get him. She picked him out immediately.
He seems to have already adjusted to his new home and is not overwhelmed by lots of people. He plays with everyone, running back and forth.
As soon as he finishes his shots (in about two weeks) we will introduce him to Gus and Daisy.
We love the new baby!

Sooooooo cute!!!!! So jealous. I would love a dog so much! One day when I have more time, money, and am ready for the commitment. :)
