Deana over at Alchemy- http://www.alchemyfineliving.com is having a blog party. She wanted to know where we would live if we could live anywhere in the world. First, I have to say, that I love living in the United States and I love living in Southern California, but if I was day dreaming....Yes, I would pick Paris!!! I think Paris is the most beautiful city in the world.
I would visit the Louvre and soak in the centuries of art and the palace that the Louvre once was.
I would have to have a serene environment to combat the high energy of the city.
A place to rest and relax.
I would visit all the little shops and buy my bread, pastries, cheese, fruits and vegetables daily. Just think how fresh they would all be.
I wouldn't get far without buying lots of flowers to fill the house.
Every big city dweller needs a place to escape to on the weekends. I would go to my summer house in St. Remy, Provence!
So relaxing and energizing!

I would sit on my patio and listen to the sounds of the country.

Take in all the colors and fragrances.

Dine outdoors and enjoy the sunshine!

If I were daydreaming!

I'm with you!!! I would live in Paris... and thank you for reminding moi that I said I would link to her blog party!
ENJOY... perhaps we can meet for a cafe creme or Veuve Clicquot in Paris!
If only... :) I wish I could live in a dream world like that. When I am trying to fall asleep at night I often imagine things like that LOL.
All the best,
Allison
I love Paris apartment decor like the one you posted here. The old masonry, flower boxes, fields of lavender, fresh bouquets of glorious flowers on every corner, cafes and bakeries. Much of your dream can be re-created here in our lovely Southern California climate with some imagination. The rest you can fulfill with extended Parisian Villa rentals....I'm loving these photos. I think you captured your dream homes and life perfectly, I was wondering if you would need a cook and cleaner lol, Kathy. congrats on your gift, the perfect tea set and accessories, happy Tuesday, Kathy.
This a strong declaration of love. An ode to Paris. I don't blame you for that :) Beyond the cliche of Paris, Rome...Paris is beautiful indeed. Although London is not bad. And what about, this is just a random choice....Barcelona! From all of the pictures you showed I would keep the ones out in the field. I would support you entirely in the boulangerie stuff and guarantee Louvre is great! But what about San Francisco!
Oh, I enjoyed your virtual life in Paris soooo much! Such gorgeous pictures. laurie
