I found these beautiful hanging planters for a fraction of the retail price. I was wondering around at Roger's Gardens (I often go there for inspiration) and I saw these beautiful planters. The problem was that there were $150 each, planted! I loved them and knew that they would go perfectly in my back garden. But...way to much money. So I decided to see if I could find anything similar online. And I did! I found the hanging baskets at a place called
www.simplyplanters.com They were on sale for $39.99 each! Jackpot!!! I then went to my local Home Depot and picked up the mixed pre-planted plastic planter for $12.99 each. I just took off the plastic hangers and set the pre-planted plastic pot inside the containers. I did not transplant them, because it gets so hot in my backyard that anything planted in moss is dry as a bone in a couple of hours. I can't keep it watered. The plants are thriving and the baskets look great!

They are absolutely forgeous. I have been looking for some also because I want to put some on the back wall fence for a little extra color. They look gorgeous and I love the beautiful plants that you put in them. Hugs, Marty
Holy smokes, Batman! Talk about a deal!! I agree with Marty, they really do look gorgeous!
Gorgeous planters Janie!!
What a deal! They are just beautiful.
Your hanging baskets are beautiful. I can see beyond them that the rest of your yard looks really nice. More, please.
They are similar to the one I got at Home Goods, I LOVE IT! I wish they had had more as I'd have bought them. Good buy! TTFN ~ Marydon
Your hanging baskets are so pretty what an amazing find, they look gorgeous with the flowers, Kathy.
Just gorgeous, Janie!! I am going to hang on to that website, the cost of pots is just staggering. I did find hanging planters very similar to yours at my nursery in Michigan for $34.50. I LOVE them!! I planted my own because I thought the moss always held the moisture in a little longer~at least I hope so!! I did notice this weekend that some of the moss was hanging loose at the bottom. I think the crazy birds wanted some for nesting material!!
Thanks for the website!!

Thanks for putting their website out there. I just built an arbor and have a hanging plant in the container I purchased it in (it's ugly). I'm going to check it out now.
