Tablescape Thursday -

Please join Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for more beautiful tablescapes.
One of the benefits of having a wedding over the weekend was that I got to keep some of the flowers.  This centerpiece was at the head table at Alyssa's wedding this weekend.  Some friends from England were here with their family on vacation.  We had them over for dinner on Tuesday.
I layered all my cream plates from Home Goods over a pale green and cream tablecloth.  I used my Godinger ice tea glasses and my Towle silver.

Those little brown curly stems are called fiddlehead fern.  We called them monkey tails when we were describing them to the florist.  Alyssa had them in her bouquet and in the arrangements.  They brought the brown into the cream and green flower arrangements.

Hi Janie,
I love your table. Can you give my a napkin folding lesson? I would love to try that. The centerpiece is wonderful and it sounds like the wedding was just perfect. I will be back to peek at more wedding.

Really beautiful. I love the cream, green, chocolate theme of the wedding and your table. Glad you got some extra miles out of the gorgeous floral arrangements your sister in law made. They were really stunning. P.S. You got my designer sister's stamp of approval on the wedding color scheme and decor. Quite the compliment. Cyn

I love those monkey tails -- I've never seen those before - and if those flowers are any indication - I'll bet the wedding was beautiful - now it's time for mom to get some well deserved rest and pamper yourself!
