Wow, everything is being spruced up for the wedding. How awesome to be visiting London right now. I love all these flags everywhere. It creates such a feeling of unity and pagentry in the city.
Even Harrods is getting into the act. They have the most wonderful window displays with wedding cakes, china and dresses right now.

I've had the privilege of seeing all the troops marching and it is SPECTACULAR. Their uniforms are so inspiring. Aren't these horses BEAUTIFUL! Because the Life Guards are so close to the palace, it is not uncommon to see them practicing.

Look at Regent Street. Oh My!
I wish the big cities in America would do things like this for 4th of July. Washington D.C. could use a little bit of American Pride for special occasions as well. Wouldn't it be great to visit Washington D.C. and see this kind of display of American Flags. Nothing says Pride and Unity like the flag.
I really wish I could be there. I wouldn't mind waiting for hours along the Pall Mall to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds and to see London all dressed up!

I would love to see all of this and especially, shop at Harrods! ;-D
It looks like our plans to visit England are scratched for this year. With my son's wedding this summer and 3 showers for his fiancee, we don't have a minute to spare. We are visiting Asheville in a few weeks to look at properties, so that will be a nice getaway to the mountains!
Great post...love the pictures, Jan ie!
XO,
Jane
Hi Janie! Oh, wouldn't it be wonderful to really be there? I guess TV viewing won't be too bad!
Be a sweetie and thanks for popping in to see me.
