On Tuesday, Katie met her friends Zach (brown hair) and Ryan (blonde) at the airport. They were visiting from Texas. They both attend SMU. Ryan's family has a condo in Encinitas, but they managed to do quite a bit of sight seeing in Orange and LA Counties with Katie as their guide. They were both very polite boys who refused to call me Willie even though Katie was insisting! On the first day, they were picked up at the airport, dropped their stuff off in Encinitas and then spent the rest of the day enjoying Disneyland and California Adventure. This was Zachs first time to California and Disneyland.
I don't know why this picture is not bigger, but anyway, they ventured up to Hollywood and visited Grauman's Chinese and Pinks.

They then headed out to Venice beach, where they played some basketball with "Vern" and lifted some weights at muscle beach.
Santa Monica Pier. They also lunched at the IVY before going to Rodeo Drive. Katie was in heaven. When asked what their favorite thing was that they did, Zach replied Mountain Biking and Ryan didn't have a favorite because California is old hat to him. But they all had a awesome time and a fun visit.
