I watched this cute movie on HBO the other day. Good clean movie with a happy ending. Just up my alley. I really liked all the characters and it was fun to see the 40's style clothes and cars. Frances McDormand and Amy Adams were fantastic. I would recommend this movie for everyone 10 yrs old and up.
Very cute movie. Again clean and happy ending. I kinda felt like I'd seen most of the movie in the trailers. There was wonderfully beautiful Alaskan scenery and of course, Ryan Reynolds is easy on the eyes. Sandra Bullock was a knockout and loved her transformation by the end of the movie. Wait until it comes out on video or see it with your girlfriends if you haven't seen much of the advertising!
I'm not a big Angelina Jolie fan, but I loved this movie. A mother's worst nightmare and a true story! There is more to the story than just the child being abducted and the mother's search. There were a lot of elements to this story that were unbelievable. I'm always amazed by what people are capable of, both good and bad. Definitely rent this and give it your undivided attention.

The Proposal movie was fantastic. What little Alaskan shoots they actually filmed, they were gorgeous. Betty White makes every thing in life sparkle & glow. Sandra & I forgot his name were fantastic. TTFN ~Marydon
Hi Janie! Would you believe I haven't seen any of these movies? We just don't go much and tend to stay home and watch something on On Demand! I do like Sandra Bullock!

Thank you so much for recommending these movies, as you know we have grandchildren coming this week and I know they will want to go to the movies, or rent something. They are 18 yrs & 16 yrs, I feel sure they will like them.

I love Miss Pettigrew! Haven't seen the proposal yet but it looks cute. Never saw the Changeling because I don't really like Angelina either LOL. My favorite part of Pettigrew are the costumes and 40sness too LOL.

I don't like her either, there's something weird about her. She's got great body but there's something in her face I find uneasy. Maybe she reminds me of her father or something :). The point is that I haven't seen the movie so I appreciate your nice review and will try to watch it. By the way, didn't you say you were coming in July? Or am I wrong? How was it?
