I received my invitation 3 weeks ago. I eagerly anticipated the great reveal. I invited my friend Cynthia to go with me. Last night we attended. Roger's Gardens closes one of their shops on their property and decorates is for Halloween and sells everything in it. I see it every year, but this is the first year that I have attended the "Premier". The theme is Mortemer's Basement. We arrived at 5:00pm only to find quite a line to wait in, but it went fast and was mostly in the shade.

The fun started outside with these haunting urns filled with grass and white/green pumpkins scattered about.

The entrance was covered with stone and had this spanish mossy stuff hanging down. You can buy the fake spanish moss. Everything you see is for sale.

They had these new spider webs that you can make using a glue gun type of machine and a compresser. The webs looked so real.

For all you doll lovers!

I loved this laboratory. It was bubbling and sounded great.

These guys have always creeped me out!

They had really great ideas using old doors, stairs, trunks, etc. Things you would find in your basement. People were snapping up things left and right. Scary halloween music was playing. Music from movies, like Cape Fear, Halloween, What Lies Beneath!

This was nestled among cactus and other weird plants.

Halloween ornament tree.

Very unusual Orchid. I couldn't find the name of it anywhere!
I'll have more tomorrow on the great pumpkin patch they had.

What fun! Although I don't like the spiders, they creep me out! The urns outside are beautiful and spooky at the same time.
Two of my favorite things combined~ garden centers and Halloween. It doesnt get much more fun than that. I sure wish one of my favorite centers would do this!
Wow I'll have to go to the premier next time! I went to Roger's Gardens over the weekend for the first time and loved it too! Take care, Martha
