Katie came home this weekend and we celebrated her birthday (Tommy came home to celebrate his mom's birthday so Katie benefited). We had Beef Stroganoff for dinner (birthday girl's pick).

Bestfriends Tommy and Kendall (Kendall goes to CSUF and loves it).

Greg and Alyssa were in attendance.

The Birthday Dinner. We had a good time talking and catching up. Of course, stories of GORE DOMINATION were the dominate subject of the dinner. Oh, you noticed the table. The woman who puts on Tablescape Tuesday has changed it to Thursday, but I have included it below.

These bird candlesticks were given to me by my mom. She had them for at least 20 years before she gave them to me. I love them.

I brought out the feathered ball and placed it in this mecury blue dish. It was a big hit with the boys. They kept talking about ways it could accidently get set on fire. Boys! I got this dish at Roger's Gardens for myself with my Christmas money from Katie and Jer. They had some candlesticks that matched, but tooo expensive for me. I am currently in love with this turquoise blue color.

The doilie belong to my Nanny. Blue beads from Michaels on the table. Napkins, dishes, napkin rings & placemats from Home Goods.

I found this blue soda at Target, made by Jones called Berry Lemonade. It sounded good, it tasted like Nyquil! (Bob didn't think it tasted like Nyquil, he liked it straight). I added Sierra Mist to it (equal parts) and it was delicious!!!

Table looks really pretty Janie. I love how you used the mercurized blue glass vase, and I really love the bird candlesticks.
Hello and thank you for visiting my blog, I love this table setting of yours. The candlesticks would have been perfect in my botanical garden theme. I noticed you are also in California which would make shipping those candlesticks to Sacramento a breeze:-)
Regards,
Julio
