Tablescape Thursday: Pretty in Pink

Please head on over to Between Naps on the Porch for more beautiful tablescapes.
In the garden I'm seeing the first signs of spring.  New buds on the flowers and leaves on the trees.  My first spring flowers are beginning to bloom and I could not help but put together this table celebrating what is to come!!!

The dishes were a Home Goods find.  I bought them in December.  What I've learned from shopping at HG is you better buy it when you see it because it will never be there again!!!  So what if it's Dec and raining outside?  You have to think ahead and purchase spring dishes in fall/winter.  The tablerunner and napkins are made by country living.  I love their stuff!
I love the peonies on these dishes.  They are one of my favorite flowers.  The problem is that they just don't grow here in So. Cal. and it is really hard to find them for your table.  So, I went with roses.  I'm terrible at arranging flowers.  That was something my mom was sooo good at.  She could pick flowers from her garden, just bunch them together, throw them in a vase, and they looked better than anything from the florist!
Yes!!!  You can believe your eyes!  I've invested in Crystal!  I first saw these beauties online at Horchow, but I found them for less (not much) at Bed, Bath and Beyond.  I got the Iced Tea glasses because that is what we basically use everyday.  My favorite shaped glasses are champagne flutes.  So beautiful with long, lean lines. Maybe next time.
These little spring bunnies have always had a special place in my heart.  For years I kept them out year round.  They are so sweet.  The crystal candlesticks were given to me by my mom for Christmas about 15 years ago.  I love them, they are so sparkly.

It was fun to set up this cheery tablescape on such a dreary afternoon.  I look forward to lunch outdoors with my girlfriends soon.  My friend, Joanna, asked me if we actually use these tablescapes?  The answer is yes!  Sometimes I even move the tablescape from the dining table to the kitchen table so we have more room for friends.

Your home is so elegant and inviting, I just love everything. Your spring tablescape is absolutely gorgeous! I love the combination of china patterns you chose...they are really strikingly beautiful together. Hi Janie, Just fell in Love with your table. Very romantic and screams Spring. I noticed your crystal glasses and wanted to let you know, JC Penny is having a clearance on crystal glasses both in store and on line. They look like the glasses in your table scape. I purchased these glasses a few days ago. Love and Prayers,Suzanne

I'm loving those dishes. I think pink peonies and pink roses are the two most beautiful flowers on earth. Your tablescape has both. Eye candy!

Janie,

Your table looks amazing!!!!!! It's too bad I don't live closer, I have deep pink Peonies in our bedroom, they'd match your dishes exactly. Flower arranging is easy, you just need to learn the basics. I do flower arranging and have even taught it in adult, evening classes. I make the floral arrangements for our church and enjoy surprising friends and neighbors with something too. I just made a Spring wreath for a new neighbor, she still had the one with pumpkins on it, that I made for her when she moved in in September. After viewing your blog, I'm sure you would be great at it.

Janie,

What is the name of the china setting that is shown under Tablescape Thursdays? It is the one with the more coral pink. If you have the name of the maker of the charger, as well, that would be grand. It is a beautiful setting!

Thanks!
