We Ordered Bridesmaid dresses!

Alyssa officially asked her sisters to be her bridesmaids this weekend.  She gave them a very sentimental card and these necklaces from Dogeared which they both LOVE!
So after all the pomp and circumstance, we headed off to Mary Me Bridal (huge selection of dresses, unlike Mon Amie which had one line) to look for the perfect Bridesmaid dresses (is there such a thing?).  Alyssa just wanted the girls to be happy with the choice.  She didn't care if it was long or short, but we had a couple of ideas.
The hard part of trying on these dresses is you don't get to try it on in your size or the color you want.  You have to use your imagination!  So it began, with all the opionions.
The lavender/pink dress was one we actually came to see.  We liked the way it fit.  Green one, not so good.
We really liked this dark brown dress.  The chocolate brown looks good on all the girls and they are so different.  That is the color of the dress we ordered.
The color of this long dress is sage.  Sage? Really?  Katie liked the dress she was wearing because it had pockets, you could put a snack in them and have it later. At least she keeps things lively!

We liked both these dresses!

The good thing about us is we are able to make decisions quickly. (Thank goodness, because these dresses take 3 to 4 months to come in.  Unless you pay extra, then they can arrive in just 6 to 8 weeks.  Of course, we paid extra.) It only took one trip to Mon Amie to find Alyssa's dress.  It only took one trip to Mary Me Bridal to pick out the Bridesmaid dresses.  We see something we like and we are able to commit without regret or that nagging thought that something better might be out there.  We did pick one of these dresses.  You'll see it in May!!!
