My friend Marlene called me this morning to let me know that her and Tina were going for a hike in the canyon and did I want to go? Yes, Yes, Yes I wanted to go. So we loaded all the dogs (4 total) and headed out. 
Our friend Chris met us there. Pictured are Tina, Chris and Marlene.
Everything was in full bloom along the trail. It was amazing! Flowers everywhere you looked. Ones I've never seen before in the wild too. Butterflies flitting and bobbing, ladybugs were everywhere! Unfortunately, so were the Gnats!!! 
You would never know that a fire totally devastated this area 6 months ago. It was completely black!
Shadow never strays far from me. Daisy will run up ahead and wait, but as soon as she sees me, she is off again. It is funny how they are like children and will not go far from you. 
It was such a lovely morning, I hope you enjoyed the hike!

Gorgeous pictures! I have never been hiking before but now I can see what I have been missing!
Hopfully we too will have something blooming soon~at least is warm today~6o!!
Went back and saw your pictures of Corona Del Mar~gorgeous homes! They remind me of the homes in La Jolla, which I visited when my son's lived in San Diego.
