TheHairstyler.com

All the bangs on top of my head have to grow out some for this haircut to be complete.  The ultimate compliment from everyone so far:  It makes you look younger.  SWEET!
Fun and sassy - maybe next time!
Watch out Whoopi!
This is the one I chose
I always liked Kate's hair on Jon and Kate plus eight - not on me though!

I am not brave when it comes to my hair.  If you've known me for any length of time, I have probably had the same hairstyle since you met me!  I can play with the color slightly, but I have never had the latest haircut.  My sister-in-law, Cindy, always has the latest and greatest cut and she always looks fabulous!

I was feeling like I needed a change.  Bob and Alyssa totally agreed, adding remarks like, "Whatever hairstyle you get, you always style it the same" and "I hate your bangs, or whatever you do on top of your head".  Nice!  Makes me feel real good.  I decided I would look up some pictures on the internet and while doing so, I stumbled upon Thehairstyler.com website.  You load a picture of yourself with your hair pulled back and you try on different hairstyles.  It also tells you what texture of hair will accomodate what hairstyle.  This is very important!  I've learned from experience that thin hair will not accomodate a multilayered haircut.  Just not enough hair there to fluff out and separate the layers.  This website gave me confidence.  I narrowed the hairstyles down to two and got opinons.  They both looked good, one was more fun and the other more conservative.  Yes, you guess the one I went for.  But, I might get the other one next summer or when I feel like I need another change.  I had fun playing around with the hairstyles.  Ones I didn't think would look good on me - Surprise! , looked good.  I tryed on hairstyles that I've always wondered if they would look good on me.  It was fun.  You can save these styles in your favorites and come back to them.  There is also alot of tools to help you determine face shape, hair texture, color etc.  Of course, this great service is not free.  It costs $15.00 for unlimited access for three months.
