My daughter, Alyssa, moved out about 1 1/2 years ago. I haven't done a thing with her old room. I have my treadmill in there, that I use daily, but other than that it has just begun to collect stuff. I have a crafting table in there, which I will need until after the wedding and all kinds of wedding and bridal shower stuff stored in there. Notice I did not say there was a bed in there. So, yesterday I finally ordered a bed. I decided on a daybed, so it won't take up too much room, but yet another bed can be popped out as needed for guests. I know a full size bed would be better, but the room is so small and I still need to use it for other things. My friend Marlene offered me a bed similar to this a year or so ago, but I didn't take it because I didn't know what I wanted to do in there. I could kick myself now. She painted it black and it looks fantastic in her loft! I did, however, get this bed on sale, so I feel a little better. I'm looking forward to decorating this room in soft tones of blue, brown and cream.

Love the bed!!!! I hope to have one in my spare room, but its full of looms, spinning, and sewing, so a day bed it will be. Mine will not be as lovely as yours! Since we are remodeling the whole house, it shall be a while. I love the tablescape! Those Mercury candle sticks and shade are wonderful as the dishes. My Hubby would be excited too if he won a Harley! He rode them when he was young. My guard dog is a Hungarian Komondor, she stays with the farm animals to protect them. She looks like a sheep and blends in with them. Her hair grows long. Hubby gave her a hair cut yesterday. She a huge dog, but know looks like a poodle with her hair cut. lol
LOVE that daybed!
OOOh la la... I LOVE that photo in your sidebar of you and hubby under Eiffel tower!
